Guidelines

In applications where a circle mask will be applied to the ribbons logomark, expand the background so that the logomark fits within a centrally positioned circle with a radius of 40% of the image's full width and height.

The download includes four variants of the Columnar logo and ribbons logomark. Choose one based on the background and whether a monochromatic look is preferred.

Logo variants

• White and gray - Use on dark backgrounds
• All white - Use on darker mid-tone backgrounds or for a monochromatic look on dark backgrounds
• Black and gray - Use on very light backgrounds
• All black - Use on lighter mid-tone backgrounds or for a monochromatic look on light backgrounds

Story

The ribbons logomark symbolizes the transformation of data connectivity standards: pivoting from the dim legacy of slow row-based formats into the bright future of fast columnar formats. Its three folding ribbons salute the triple chevrons of the Apache Arrow logo.
